I agree with you on the challenges this generation -- at least you're guaranteed a Grilled Cheese tombstone no matter who the heir is (although that may not be a good point to make). At least all the children turned out adorable.
And it's a shame ISBIs can't do double-heirs, as I had such a hard time trying to choose between Zisa and Astrid.
Well, I'm hoping that the heir gets a LTW from their secondary at this point--Valhalla already proved that it was going to be difficult to have a GC torchholder have time to eat 200 sandwiches AND raise the next generation!
The lack of double-heiring is probably for the best, if my insanity from what I did the last time I had to pick a Laurince heir is any indication.
It might be too early and I might be lacking in the coffee department, but "strategically positioned through sheer luck to be unstealable" made me laugh REALLY HARD. XD
Haha, it's so true, though! Once my sims re-stole all the stolen gnomes, however I managed to stick them down in the lawn has made nearly all (if not all) of them unstealable. I didn't do that purposefully or anything!
I don't want to get everyone's hopes up, I'm not 100% sure that Aeneas didn't just come home with Brodie's brothers once they were all in high school, but they've got some nice love/hate going on.
So i totally voted for Freyja because she is beyond beautiful...while the others are quirky enough though. (and I think the only heir I ever married in my game was Michael Peet i have a thing about heirs marrying in to have like double lives...i think it kills my game when that happens)
Love that you get the odds of not having another GC sim and you get 2 how lucky are you :p
Im glad you are back and updating :) it's kinda nice to have you back even though it will probably take forever to get the next update from you....and yet again i go to bed and you post what is with that :p
To be honest, about half the sims I add, by the time they end up in a position to get added to one of my P_T families, I have no idea whether they were an heir or a spare or not, without looking it up. (I didn't consider it important enough to add to my spreadsheet, which has name, creator, age group I put them in, hair color, and whether or not I used them in a legacy yet.)
It's all my built-up karma from back when I was rolling and rolling and NEVER rolled GC for sims.
My insomnia has gotten worse, as of late, is the big thing! The next update is...in process. On top of the house being overfull, I swore to achieve the 20 simultaneous loves LTW for Penelope. I have stupidly bad timing.
I still need to read your latest update...LJ has been so shitty the past two weeks, I swear to god... The one night I was going to spend time updating and be on LJ, 75% of the pages wouldn't load. :/
Oh you are more detail oriented than I am...i just tend to not download the heirs...or if I do I have already picked someone else from the user so its like crap and they totally would have made a great spouse too...the only thing I have in a spreadsheet for my BACC is creator, sim's full name so they aren't like Eros Quinkie or something like that and their age group I don't even have their aspiration on that spreadsheet, I only grab it when I put it into the family spreadsheet (i have a spreadsheet for every family
( ... )
Billy Joe's arrival shot is so evil! It had me laughing when I saw it.
Freyja's outfit is so gorgeous! Where is it from, if I may ask? Or is it two pieces paired together?
LOL at Astrid following in her siblings' foosteps unnecessarily. At least two of the adoptees gave you a break on the Grilled Cheese front.
The week of silence was a super unfortunate challenge to roll, but at least you didn't have to do it when there was baby caretaking or toddler training to be done!
I am really looking forward to seeing what they all get up to in college. :D I voted for Zisa, though any of them being heir would be fine by me.
Well, the answer for clothes that aren't a billion years old is almost always sourced over at GoS. It is two separates, and I knew that I got the skirt from this thread. Good news is, while hunting down the skirt I knew was there, I found the thread for the shirt. Bless the thread thumbnails, I never have such luck!
Well, actually, you can't talk to infants, and most toddler interactions don't involve talking, so I don't find it such a hardship. The main downside of that challenge in an ISBI is with the children: can't help with homework, can't call to meal, so there is definitely planning involved!
ETA: Funny, talking about a forum doesn't magically make BBcode work on LJ! ...fixed links.
