I'm kind of obsessed with "The Pillars of the Earth" at the moment. I'm simultaneously watching the mini-series (IS IT FRIDAY YET?) and reading the novel. So far it's fantastic. It's kind of a weird exercise for me to read/watch something so close together. I'm usually good at separating film/show adaptations from the books they are based off of and judging them as two separate things, but normally I try to space out the watching/reading time. I'm only ~200 pages into the book but I've watched all the aired episodes so I've seen more than I've read and I'm loving both. It's filling the gap in my soul that's anxiously awaiting 'A Dance with Dragons' and the HBO 'Game of Thrones' series that won't premier till next year.

Also, Eddie Redmayne is kind of a problem for me. He's just too goddamn cute. He also made me realize that I need to change my last name it Redmayne so I can make bad puns involving my name and hair color.
