10 Things I Hate About You
They made a series!!! Here's what I like and don't like:
1. The casting.
Ethan Peck is a horrible Patrick Verona. I mean.... hello???? Just because he looks troubled, it doesn't mean he can play the role. I mean, this is the movie that made me LOVE Heath Ledger. Now his role is going to be taken by him???
Nicholas Braun is not Cameron material. Cameron is the kind of guy who is lost, but at the same time, totally in control. Nicholas is just lost. I loved him in Sky High, but he does not make a good Cameron.
2. The weird differences
In the movie, Bianca is more of a queen bee than Chastity. In the series, Bianca is trying to impress Chastity. Chastity, in the movie, is kind of dim. (If you can be overwhelmed, and underwhelmed, can you just be whelmed?) In the series, Chastity is very conniving and extremely b*tchy.
In the movie, only Cameron is the new kid. In the series, Bianca and Kat are the new girls. Doesn't seem right. hahaha
Well, I like it except for those things. But it was just the first episode. Maybe as the series progresses, it'll get better.
