Oh, such a fun day!!!
I got up at the crack of noon, showered, dressed (because clothes make you socially acceptable!) and got ready for the day. Talked online with Bobby for a short while, and set off for what was to be a kickass day. I chilled on the 6th floor for a while, Monopolizing (playing Monopoly) as tradition with some of the guys, and basically just hanging around. At 5:00, we all set out to the Outback in Wappingers Falls, NY. Only 10 min down the highway. Mike has his car for the semester, and Lindsay (from the 8th floor) has hers for another few weeks. So 10 of us walk in to the restaurant and proceed to have an amazing meal filled with animated conversation, good food, MANY photos, and arguments over the Pats/Steelers game on TV. We got the waitress to believe that it was Devon's 21st birthday (not true, btw) and so he got a birthday surprize (no alcohol, though. He doesn't drink). I wasn't feeling too good, though. So I brought most of my food home with me. RJ was a good boo and made sure that I was okay. Such a good guy.
Speaking of which, upon return to the dorm, I discovered my new favorite game... Steal RJ's shoes and run away. It's a simple game... you steal RJ's shoes and run away. Unfortunately, he is prehaps THE fastest person I've ever encountered. Therefore, about half a hallway away he will catch up with you and throw you over his shoulder. This is the fun part. It usually ends with you completely over his shoulder with a full view of his ass. And at that point, the possible comments are endless. I only got away from him at one time, and one time only. Devo held RJ while I ran away with his shoes, and then went down the stairs. RJ went up the stairs when he got to the stairwell. I won. *^_^* Well... I dunno... the point of the game is to get caught. But getting away is equally fun.
And so the day ended with another game of Monopoly (we play that an unhealthy amount), followed by hilarity envolving the miniature hat from the game and our friend Matt, RJ, and me. And finally, I was forced to go to bed due to extreme exhaustion. I will sleep well tonight.
On a small note: I was told something today that amused me greatly. Unfortunately, it involves someone who may read this regularly, so ask me on the side sometime and I will fill you in.
And I'll try to get some piccies from Devo from recent times. He's going shutterhappy with his digital camera that he bought off of Adam. He intends to take multiple piccies every day until the last week of school, creating a giant slideshow of our second semester at Marist, giving everyone a CD of it. So if I wish, I can get advance piccies of eventful events here, posting them here.
Tomorrow/today starts the insanity that is housing. Me and the girls in my room have to figure it all out, and hopefully get rooms in Midrise next to the boys' room. It shall be fun times... fuuuun times. (Next year, of course... not the housing process. That's gonna suck.)
