Can you play me a memory?

Several things!

1) Arashi is on social media. What is the world coming to? I still haven't managed to get through the entire video of Turning Up, though, I find the song exceedingly boring. I've had their first four albums on rotation lately though, those songs are slapping. Their recent releases can never. I love the boys to death, but damn it ( Read more... )

Late comment is late - I'm hugely sorry. I meant to write earlier, but then the world exploded. In the most horrific way.

I hope this finds you well, at best coping, and with loved ones close by and holding you close. And that you personally are also doing ok, because lockdowns can be a shitty thing for some. It's all well and good if the rest of the world has discovered the joy of baking and reconnecting with their family.

But I'm thinking of you - and wishing you the best for everything because you are amazing and deserve only good things. And this shitty world is so not enough for the likes of you and me. *HUGS* also I miss you a lot, and always think of you. Your amazing writing and your art.

And yes Arashi on social media - which means after much balking at the idea ... I also have social media - so if you want to connect to me on IG here I am

... and when this world goes to pot - I watch boy bands - because they are still my go to for my bit of happy - To hear them tell stories - to watch Aiba be silly with a balance ball - please don't hurt yourself my man, and to hear Ohno go on about cooking for himself and wanting to go back and just fish. And Jun just drinking water for detox - even under advisement from a personal trainer - I did not think that was a good idea ...

And yes - fricking heck - I am so bloody glad that Nino got married before the world exploded. Go him! I am so happy - he is doing something for himself at last.

The fam and I are good, the situation could be worse, numbers here oscillate too much still for the govt, to think about releasing us from this lockdown. I'm still allowed to go to work, on rotating shift so it ends up to two and half days a week. But I'm grateful that I still have a job - and one that I can go to. Many have lost their livelihoods.

This thing has got the world's governance leading a merry dance - and whilst the US might seem to head the list of the worst - no one seems to be getting it right either, so there's that.

And meanwhile I think about my friends the world over, and I'm writing each one personally where I hope they can see me, so I know that you're all ok.

Love you miss you - and hope you are doing so good.

And if this seems a little ranty I am sorry, it's just a little frazzling for me this whole business, and has me a little more than emotional - so maybe I'm not totally ok, but I have to keep it together so my fam keeps it together.

And uh ... sorry.

Just missing you and worried too! Much love

Zan

Take care - stay safe, stay strong and stay sane!
