So I watched CiONTU and it was a perfect ending to a rough week, which had me at survival camp with my fellow leader trainees (lovingly called LT from now on), freezing an insane amount for three days straight (like, sleeping outside under open skies at -2 degrees celsius is, uh, not ideal) and then a really stupidly busy weekend at work.
So,CiONTU, I say.
Because someone *cough*Yuzuruhimself*cough* had loaned out all his costumes to the exhibit, he was wearing PW 1.0, Zigeunerweisen, Romeo and Juliet 1.0 and Etude, I mean. Etude. That costume is so stunning, and I don't get why that Romeo and Juliet costume got so much flack, because it's actually pretty? I mean. I might just be biased and also, you know, used to JE abominations, so there's that. Yuzu was so, so lovely and he looked so happy and smiling and boy refrained from doing jumps although he sure did look like he wanted to. His interview with Plushenko was all kinds of adorable and him being a blushy mess is basically everything I want from life. And LOL at him going "Oh, I've always done a spread eagle into the Axel." He's such a little shit HAHA
Also, Zigeunerweisen. And when he did the final choreography with the steps and spins from Seimei, I was grinning so hard. That layback Ina Bauer in the closing number... so. many. chills.
On another note; I hope his costumes were tweaked for the occasion, or I'm left absolutely stupefied as to how he fits costumes he wore when he was sixteen????
And Javi getting up insanely early to skate (and mess up his spin oh my god) and Yuzu getting everyone to serenade him with a birthday song, ugh, I'm going to miss Javi so, so much :(
Also realized that my love for Stéphane Lambiel knows no bounds apparently, and I really need to rewactch the ShibSibs going to a training camp with him <3
Throwback to Yuzu's old prgrams, enjoy <3
