It's been a nice quiet Christmas, just the way I like it. And would comment more but have too much to do. And that is good news for the Merlin thing (although I never watched it) at least if someone feels that it was close to canon (and that person is you) then I am happy. (As this is someone who has read the many incarnations of Arthur, and I started with Thomas Malory's 'Le Morte d' Arthur' - because o ... the language) ...
And yes ... The Hobbit, for the most part I did enjoy it and was puzzled as to who BC could have played ... but when I found out I thought ... really? Really? *sigh* BUT Martin Freeman is so much love and yes ... Legolas??? *sigh* I suppose they could really disguise him as another elf but gah. I'll forgive it just as I barely forgave George Lucas the megalomania and tyranny he effected in his own stories and films ... (there could be another rant in there but I won't) ^_^ ... I'll just enjoy the films for what they are.
And wheee ... pressies!!! Love, snuggles and little things. There is nothing like the cocoon of love at this time isn't there.
