Oh it's not really any mistake, it's just some stylistic things that are of course up to personal taste. To me, the "dentist" thing seems overcooked... not only do I realise that Akaya was annoyed about having the dental appointment, but even I was getting annoyed about it in the way the word "dentist" came up so many times.
