Tick... Tick... Tick...
So this day is going by sooooooooo slow. Why is it when you want to be doing something else time drags....? I'd rather be at home drawing or sewing or talking or just sitting there as opposed to just sitting here....
I wonder what it would be like if the US was more like Europe. More laid back, more accepting of life outside of work, more family oriented, just in general less stuck up. The tought of 5 weeks of vacation being mandated. That is awesome.
It's on days like this that I think about all of the random thoughts in my head that have no other time to come out other than on days when the world is so quiet that they must spill out.
Like for instance... why aren't people generally nice? Everyone gets irritated when people are rude to them, and then they just turn around and be rude to others... it's a self perpetuating cycle. I think much of it is the "busy city" attitude though.... growing up we didn't have these issues... I honestly can't remember a time as a kid when either of my parents flipped anyone off while driving. It was always a nice wave and they always waved back... I wonder if that is just the difference in the city and the country though. It's still like that at home... so maybe that is the difference....
