WTF Parents!
Just got home from a week's vacation. Admittedly, I haven't been in touch with my parents as well as I should, but HOLY CRAP. After putting the baby to bed, came downstairs to find redwings42 on the phone, with my mom. After he got off the phone, he played the message that prompted him to call, which was basically my mom saying "Here's your father's number in the hospital. Bye."
WTF?!
Apparently, Dad has had redness on his lower legs that he's been treating with a salve, until Mom was finally able to convince him to go to Urgent Care today. They sent him straight to the Emergency Room. Turns out they're infected. He's in no danger of losing limbs or life and the infection has already gone down in one leg. Now Mom's pissed at him for not listening and apparently ruining their plans to go to a show in Auburn on Tuesday, and talked Lee's ear off when he called to find out WHY Dad's in the hospital. Yup.
Tomorrow, we have plans to go out to Lee's cousins. Now, I wonder if we should head up north.
