My Weekend
Well, Friday went to the make-up concert for the Treblemakers. Very good, except being shhhddd by lyndzyque during Hold On, by Wilson Phillips (guilty pleasure). Then concluded the evening at krisispm's and elise's. It was so good, lots of yummy food and fun stooping outside.
Saturday turned out to be pretty bad, however; I came down with a nasty case of tonsillitis and had to resort to taking meds I had in the house and looking them up online to see what they were. Amoxicillin, 500 mg. I took them and began to feel better. By 9pm, decided I was no longer sick, well, I couldn't stay in the house any longer and went out. More fun was had at an outside bar on 20th and Market. Dancing and drinking and my Sister came along. You heard it right, my sister, who I have not seen since she was a baby came and found me and we have been talking and now we are hangin out. It's all very interesting. More to come on that.
Sunday, Phillies game, our friend Mutlu performed during the 7th inning stretch to a crowd of thousands. I, of course, missed the entire thing and came just a few minutes too late. Oh well, got to hear him at McFaddens after the game, lots of new Mutlu fans in the bunch now.
Finally, after the game, Lisa and I ended up at Kate and Lindsay's. Kate's mom is in town, so nice, and her Uncle and Grandmother were over as well. Good food, good company, and good conversation. It was the perfect end to a pretty decent weekend.
