To each other, So'lar and Sir Kia are anathema. For one to refrain from destroying the other would be a physical impossibility. I find the dynamics between the two concepts to an interesting one.
Anyhoo, trying to play with light and shadow, and a minimal lines and shapes. This is just the under sketch with some lines to show direction and colour of light sources. I have a half-finished version but am very discouraged with it. The difference on the screen between my Mac and my laptop is so dramatic that I'm concerned it just looks like a dark mess to anyone but me. Sigh. I'm having a lot of trouble holding back on the detail and resisting the urge to work and overwork the anatomy of the figures until they end up stiff and lifeless. I am just not sure how to "make it work" as it were.
