After the big shopping mission, Tegoshi learned how to act like a girl back at Risa's apartment. The two girls taught Tegoshi all the basics to adorable and feminine manners.
"No, Tegoshi-kun, close your legs!" Risa pushed his legs together as he sat in a wooden chair.
Sayumi slapped his back and he yelped. "And sit up straight! It's very unladylike if a girl slouches!"
Tegoshi bit his lower lip and whined. "But I'm not used to sitting this way!"
"Get used to it!" Risa and Sayumi told him off. Tegoshi clicked his tongue.
"Now, let's try some facial expressions. Can you pout cutely?" Risa asked.
Tegoshi titled his head down, raised his lower lip, and his eyes went up, he gave the puppy-eyed look.
"Good, good. Stubborn?"
Tegoshi balled his hands into fists, placed them under his chin, puffed out his cheeks, and kept the puppy-eyed look on his face.
"How about excitement?" Sayumi interjected.
Tegoshi's face broke into a smile and bounced in his sitting position, giggling.
The two were impressed. Sayumi clapped. "Wow, Tegoshi-kun! You;re a professional!"
Tegoshi laughed, he was flattered. "Well doing Yukinojo in Yamanade was a real big help so I'm glad I was able to pull it off easily!"
The next day the rest of the members of NEWS were gathered at Risa's apartment to behold the results of Tegoshi's girl transformation.
"So you two think you've changed Tegoshi's looks perfectly?" Massu asked.
"Definitely. He'll be the cutest new-female-tarento you've ever laid your eyes on! Besides me, of course! Nobody can out-cute Michishige Sayumi!" Sayumi responded.
Yamapi half-smiled at Sayumi's narcissist remark. Oh yeah. She's the overly self-confident member of the group. She's even like this in private? Kinda creepy...
"Enough with the small talk and bring out Tegoshi!" Ryo interrupted in a harsh tone.
Risa clasped her hands together. "Okay then! I, Niigaki Risa, and my helper, Michishige Sayumi, present to you...Tegoshi Yuya, female-tarento version! Come on out, Tegoshi-kun!" Risa called to the bathroom where Tegoshi was in getting ready.
"But I'm embarrassed!!" Tegoshi shouted.
Sayumi stomped to the bathroom, opened the door, and pulled out Tegoshi. "Just come out!"
Tegoshi was in front of all the five men who were gaping in confusion and shock.
Tegoshi's long hair was pulled into a side ponytail and the ends were wavy. He had nude makeup lightly applied to his face and his luscious lips shined with gloss. His fashion consisted of a lilac-colored sundress (that showed a bit of his cleavage) and white sandals. A necklace with a diamond-studded heart key charm went around his neck and he had a french tip manicure and pedicure.
Tegoshi blushed. "Well...what do you all think...?"
At first they were all silent for a few seconds until Koyama and Shige broke the ice. "Daaaamn!" They harmonized in unison.
"Well I'll be," Ryo muttered. "Tegoshi, you're fucking gorgeous!"
Yamapi smiled in amazement. "I say. Job well done, Risa-chan, Sayumi-chan."
"Thank you!" The two girls said together.
"So since Tegoshi's gonna be a female-tarento, have you thought of his girl identity, like his name and stuff?" Massu asked.
Risa nodded. "Yup! He'll be going by the name of Niigaki Yuko."
"I sort of get the 'Yuko' part, but why did you use your last name?" Shige added.
"I dunno. But when we accidentally ran into a few people we knew yesterday, I dubbed him as my cousin since it was the first excuse I could think of."
"This is perfect, Tegoshi! You'll definitely capture Kame-chan's heart in no time!" Koyama cheered.
"Yeah," Tegoshi agreed and pumped up a fist. "I'll do my best!!"
The next day when Risa and Sayumi introduced Tegoshi to the UFA president, he accepted his resume and got his first job as a tarento right away, guest appearance on a variety show.
There were about ten guests appearing on the show. Including Tegoshi, there was a few of his senpais in the entertainment world, Tanaka Reina, Tanaka Koki, Nakamaru Yuichi, and obviously, Kamenashi Kazuya.
"Yappi!! Yuko-chan!" Reina called out to Tegoshi and he smiled.
"Reina-chan, nice to see you again!" Tegoshi greeted her.
Reina's face turned a wide grin. "Oh my god!! Look, Yuko-chan! It's Kamenashi Kazuya-kun in the flesh! Kyaa!!"
Tegoshi looked at Kame (who talking with Maru and Koki at the moment), his cheeks turned slightly pink. "Oh, it really is," He turned back to Reina. "You like Kamenashi-kun?"
Reina smirked. "Of course, duh! I'm his biggest fan! In the future I like, totally know we're definitely gonna get married!!"
Tegoshi tried to smile. "O-Oh...cool..." Damn. Reina-chan thinks that far...?
Rein squealed and bounced in joy when her crush and his friends waltzed towards them. "Yuko-chan! What are you doing here?" Kame called out.
Tegoshi put his hands behind his back and showed off an adorable smile. "I'm a newbie. What a coincidence to see you again, Kamenashi-ku--"
Reina cut off Tegoshi by introducing herself in order to get Kame's attention. "Nice meet to you, I'm Tanaka Reina! I'm very glad to be working together with you, Kamenashi-kun!"
Kame chuckled. "Same here. These are my fellow members of KAT-TUN, Nakamaru Yuichi."
Maru did a slight bow. "Pleasure to be working with the both of you today."
"And Tanaka Koki."
Koki showed off an awkward smile. "Y-Yo..." Since it was his second time seeing Tegoshi as a girl, he was at a real loss of words. Wow...Tegoshi really is a girl...I still can't believe it, but it looks like it's the goddamn truth...
Just then, the AD called out. "Everyone on standby! We're on in 60 seconds!"
All the guests stood in their places and Tegoshi looked at Reina whose was mouthing her catchphrase "Ganbareina!" for good luck and then his eyes went to Kame who now had a serious face, like he usually shows when the cameras are rolling.
Tegoshi swallowed the lump of nerves that was blocking his throat. I'm gonna do my best! Kamenashi-kun, soon enough your heart will be mine!!
