quiet before the storm
in my moment of peace, i came to the realization that it has been far too long since i've updated. i know, i say that every time. livejournal is like the plant you never water then surprises you when you one day find it dead.
actually, i don't know where to begin, or where i've left off...
the weeks anticipation ebbs and flows and by week’s end my dear goodfriend is getting married. its freaking me out a little, thinking of what to say to someone you've known your whole life on their wedding day is rather daunting. i'm talking about the dreaded maid of honor-sigh-speech. i managed my last with a few glasses of champagne and a cheat sheet, granted it was my brother, but this time, i feel the pressure mounting. must make a good impression, you know, can't come off as belligerent. dammit, i've never been this anxious about someone else's wedding before!
here's a segue, after a labor-intensive semester, i've been given, not only options, but advancements. i have been accepted to CSUN for transfer in the fall of 2006 and am also eligible for my upper division classes the moment i begin. here i thought i had more pre-reqes to take care of. since, i have also discovered some disappointing news about channel islands. only established in 2001, by the time i graduate, the school still won't be accredited for another year. that seems a bit silly, now doesn't it. i think i have made a wise decision, even as it may have been one to make a long time ago. i am happy to finally move forward. i'll be relocating to la towards the end of august, it is going to be a long summer.
next week also brings some fun new challenges, i start massage school on wednesday and am rather excited. i'll be licensed and all by summer's end! tell your friends! :o)
as i run out of things to say, i'm thinking of more things i have to do.
