Yes, I'm in Boracay right now. Leeching wi-fi from the hotel restaurant. We've been here since Thursday morning and we're leaving early tomorrow morning.
Pretty eventful so far. Though on Thursday I was annoyed with my sisters because I wanted to go banana boating or swimming or whatever, and they just wanted to walk down the beach and watch other people (and look for cute guys >.>)
Thankfully, fun things started happening yesterday. We rode ATVs to the highest point on the island and rode all the way back down. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAND I took a tumble. Literally. I made a sharp turn by accident and the whole thing fell over and I skidded down the path for a while until it stopped. I apparently freaked out my sister because she turned back to see me on the ground, the ATV over my legs and I wasn't moving. Frankly, I couldn't move because all I could think about was the pain shooting up my arm and shoulder. (Though honestly, before that, the thought in my head while I was sliding down the path was "Oh shit, oh shit, my shoulder and arm are going to be so fucked up...") Thank goodness for the helmet and the knee pads and the elbow pads. Anyway, I just stayed there lying and they tried to help me up but I growled at them because I just wanted to lie there...
Then my sister said, "Come on, Felizia, you gotta go on the buggy for the rest of the trip down." and I whimpered at her, "Nooooo." And she continued, "What? You wanna still ride the ATV?" ... Whine: "Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeess...." To which she replied, "... GAGA!!"
But I had to ride the buggy because I really was in no condition to keep going. My shoulder hurt like hell. (And to be honest? It still does!). While in the buggy, I cried. 1) Because it hurt like hell; 2) Because I wanted to ride the ATV still :P and 3) Because the strap of my Earth Hour bag snapped and it really upset me.
... AND despite my bum shoulder, I went shallow-water scuba diving today! It was pretty. The fish were small since the reefs around Bora aren't so big, but it was good enough for a beginner's course. And just my luck, I got bitten by a black/white clownfish. >_> Ah well... My favorite sight was an anemone (or was it just a coral?) And there were about fifteen tiny blue baby fishes in it :D So cute! Too bad none of us had underwater cameras.
Anyway, I'll be packing up my laptop now. I'm frickin' freezing in here. It's airconditioned and I'm in a sleeveless top and my tankini >_> And we still have to have my arm/shoulder checked to be sure it really is just a pulled muscle.
