oooh Yesterday~!
I think this is best said by saying all the stuff we did yesterday. First, by saying that I had had four hours of sleep total, woke up to chat with good friends, then I was about to nap after they disappeared to see my sister Fesca walk into the room and attempt to wake up sister Grace
(Yes, I am still a room squatter. But at least I was on my own bed)
Apparently, they wanted to go swimming at the village park/swimming pool. And they invited me. I didn't feel like it at first, then they mentioned getting sun because the tans from the Island Cove trip had already faded. So I eventually gave in, especially after they found my bathing suit @_@
I suppose it's no secret to my friends that I was born and spent my first six years of life in California, USA. And somehow, that was what our conversation turned to while we were lounging in the pool, floating on the noodles. (a 'noodle' is an elongated cylinder of foam that you can bend and... well practically sit on if you knew how to)
It really made me think. What would my life have been like if I'd spent it in the US? And I realized in horror that my whole family could have been... well... "populars" @_@
See, my brothers... all three of them, were on the football team (American Football, not Soccer). First string. They thus hung out with their teammates, who were some of the populars at school. And they always liked to crash at OUR house. Yes, I have memories of myself, at four years old, watching Inspector Gadget on the Disney Channel in the states, and one of these big hulking football boys would come into the living room and ask where our brothers were. And when I answer, "I dunno" he'd shrug, "okay!" and he would sit down and watch said cartoon with me. O_o;
Not to mention, as being on the football team, they always hung out with the cheerleaders. And dated the cheerleaders. Yes. Just like the stereotype.
And finally, my eldest brother, Vic... his best friend was Joe Ramos, the Mexican Crush ng Bayan. Seriously. He'd sit with our family to watch the football games, and a whole gaggle of girls would sit behind HIM. And right in front of them, he'd say, "Hey, Fesca!" and give her a wet willy.
We were trying to reenact what they were saying, "T__T Joe! What is he doing with a middle-schooler?!"
@_@ Sister Fesca predicted that if she had continued high school there, she would have been popular by association.
But for us last two sisters, by the time we would have reached high school, my brothers would have already been long-gone, in college, or maybe have even graduated it already. But somehow, I wouldn't have been surprised if Sister Grace was popular.. @_@ Which would have somehow made me popular by association.
I'm also thinking about it, I would have had a completely different set of interests and a different aspiration for my future. Because I started on computer programming because of Pisay... because of second year high school @_@
It was at that time that I had actually wished that I had Allisana's ring in Alternate Futures (XP yes! yes! Shameless plug!) just so that I could see what would have happened to me if my family hadn't moved back to the Philippines.
We got home, and I was about to attempt my nap again, but sister Fesca came in and dragged me into playing Marvel Ultimate Alliance with her. And... we finished it! @__@ And we have now unlocked Hard mode, so we're actually playing it ALL OVER again, with the loaded character stats from our end-game.
My only complaints about the game are that I still miss my boyfriend T_T But at least I got yummy cinematics of him. Gawd I love him XD And it was actually funny, because it ended up being a sort of prelude to later events of the day. Because the evil overlord of the game was Doctor Doom. Yes. Doctor Doom. To be perfectly honest, he was a cool ultimate villain. And it was amusing that he summoned evil versions of the Fantastic Four at the end to fight us. Makes me wonder what would have happened if we'd decided to bring the Fantastic Four themselves to the last battle.
Also, the end of the game involved a shot of Galactus, claiming that he would take revenge on our world because he was stolen from. Yeah, somewhere through it, we had to steal an item from him. An item that helped him eat worlds. I'm still annoyed though, that the Silver Surfer helped us without any reason aside from Fury telling him so -_- The surfer would not do that. His own planet was at stake, so why would he help our group steal from his boss?
But yeah. I started laughing and turned to my sis "Hey, looks like there's a MUAII."
The cool thing about the game was at the end, the Watcher (Yes, the Watcher XD I thought it was cool that he was there) showed us the results of all our actions, like whether or not we bothered saving some people, or accidentally stumbling across some items. There was one bad event, but well... @_@

Sooo next, was a trip to ATC, to watch... a movie!
Yes. He is XD Really. I already liked him from the cartoon (that I barely remember) and gawd... seeing a really hawt hawttie play him makes me love him all the more XD XD
So, I liked it better than the first movie, all-in-all. The first movie was rather... BLAH. Still needs a lot of work. But I love the way they made the Surfer ^_^ And Galactus was just a huge... cloud. I guess it would've been too much to actually show him, especially in a live movie.

I actually hardly noticed before that all the people they chose look really good for the roles they have. XD
And something I found really interesting. I don't remember from the cartoon really, but it's really cute that everyone really KNOWS who the Fantastic Four are... Secret identities? What secret identities?

And I went to check on my gundams and... my top three choices weren't there -_________- BLACH I'm ordering them online the next time they're all available. I SWEAR. Hello HLJ. I hope you're as nice to me as you are to Kao-san.
