My frustrations as a gamer
a.k.a The search for a good priced Nintendo DS
At Greenhills (according to Ranulf): NDSLite for 7,500, but Greenhills is so far away x_x
At Ruins Stall 1: They SAID 8,000 for the NDSLite, then 7,500 was their final offer but they had no stock, and that it was by order. When we went back, they said they didn't sell it at all >_>
At Ruins Stall 2: NDSLite for 10,500 ._.
At a stall in Alabang Town Center: A USED NDS (not lite) for 3,000 o_o It had scratches though, and it looked well-used...
At a PC shop in Festival Mall: NDS for 8,000, NDSLIte for 8,500... pwede na... Or so I thought...
And finally, what made me happy at last:
At Circuit City in Festival Mall: NDSLite + 1 Game (or 2 GBA Games) for 9,500, or NDSLite + 2 Games for 10,400.
Pwede na diba...? I mean... Each game is 1.5k to 2k! (Although I'm scared because it said 2 NDS COPY game... and I would really like to know what COPY means.)
We were supposed to all share it. That would mean 3,500 per person if we got the two game one. Now the problem is... I don't have money. Neither does my sister (Grace), because she got sick, and her dog got sick, and she had to pay for the confinement of her dog, and for her own medicine. Her bank account literally got drained. And my other sister (Fesca) is definitely not paying that much in one go (even though she has so much savings I want to strangle her)
I think we can probably get it in another two months. Besides, it'll probably still go down. At least we know that it's a good place to look.
... Too bad I want it NOW.
