The Usual Problems
I have come to the realization that my classmates are generally immature. It's so annoying how just ONE suggestive word in a slide presentation or in a lecture or a document can already set them off in giggles/chuckles.
The example that I present today regards my GAMESEM class, where the teacher was talking about motivations in playing games. One of them is Social Lubrication. I rolled my eyes a little, then I nodded, because I knew it sounded odd, but that it meant games allow people to socialize with each other. It's a means of recreation or entertainment that can be done in groups. But the guys on the right side of the class wouldn't stop snickering. It was annoying, considering that they're supposed to be in COLLEGE and that they are still like that.
Anyways.. that aside:
My group is suffering in Thesis, not because of my groupmates, but because my teacher is making things way too fast. By this Thursday we already have to figure out our methodology?! x.x Ugh. Well, our teacher acknowledges that we are behind at least, since we're still pretty unorganized.
Aside from that, I still don't know where to go for OJT. I'm not sure if I'll be able to get into Anino after all, since I'm a lazy bum with no initiative whatsoever. I don't know how to present a formal (or is it okay to be informal?) email to them asking about the Project Details Form, and if it's still okay to apply if my OJT starts in April. *sigh* Maybe I can ask my sisters/mom about that and postpone that 'formal email' to next week.
But seriously... It's the only company I can think of that I'd be okay in. I was talking to kristiann the other night and I realized I really can't see myself going into anything business related. I already know myself to not be able to work on something properly without the right interest, so IT companies are a no-no for me. (Just take a look at my Thesis O_o It's game-related) And hell yeah, I don't want to be just mixing coffee for the big shots. On the other hand, my cousin said that she had a friend that I may be able to work with. There's still that DAMNED PROJECT DETAILS FORM though.
Not much on other news. For recreation news:
[GAMES] I didn't work this entire weekend, was only on Ragnarok (Quin's 80, Joa's 64, Cay's 54, Kiran's 31)or on my family's new obsession Khan.. x.x Kieran's a lvl 19 Necromancer.
[ANIME] I'm getting obsessed with Yu Gi Oh again. (Damn you Cartoon Network!! *snorts at Bakura's southern accent and reminds self to make fun of him to Amy when she gets the chance*) Gundam Seed is actually pretty cool and dammit I'm falling in love with Yamato Kira (DAMN YOU Cartoon Network!!). Getbackers is almost done (... again) so I'm going to lose my 8:30 anime slot. Alien 9 makes me laugh.
[MANGA] My thesis mate is giving me Bleach as soon as I can bring my laptop and he brings his USB drive =O Coooooool. And he's gonna give all the chapters of TenTen that I don't have yet. Yay.
Did I mention I love just being a bum? I really wanna go to Pixar. Or a game company. I saw the interviews of two guys who were behind Prince of Persia: Warrior Within today and I was like T___T WaAaaAAaaaAAaaahhh I wanna work with games or movies~~~ WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAh
.....Maybe I should've taken Multimedia Arts at Benilde after all.....
........................ Riiiight like Pisay would've allowed it.
side note: DAMN DLSU SERVER IS MUCKED UP TODAY!! Looks like I can't research properly this afternoon T_T I'll just go to Speed Bytes later to send my thesis-mate the work that I did last week.
