Ruined Vacations
No I still don't have internet. This is... if you can believe... a dial-up card. Did everyone else know that ISP Bonanza now has unlimited for three days cardS? 150 pesos each too, that's pretty awesome. If only it didn't tie up the phone line >_>
PLDT MyDSL is a pain. We have been on cue since last Tuesday, but NO! Apparently so many people are on cue before us, that's why they haven't reached us yet. ARGH!
My beatiful five and a half day vacation from work has been ruined
In other news, my other grandmother, the one on my dad's side, passed away last Tuesday. It was sad, but the truth was, we weren't very close to her, especially me, because I barely remembered her when she didn't suddenly go hypochondriac on everyone. Dad was sort of adopted, you see, so his 'mother' was the one that passed away back in the 90's.
Unfortunately for us, we've been having to go to her wake, and STAYING there to help watch over her in case of visitors. That means getting there at 9AM, and staying until the last guest leaves. Which sucks because last Wednesday, some guests ARRIVED at 10PM to leave past midnight. It was way past my sleeping time dammit!! @_@ I'm usually passed out at 9PM nowadays!
You'd think people were busy doing holy week things, without enough time to visit @_@
well, I've been attempting to draw at least. kristiann should be happy @_@ My sister is actually volunteering to do the backgrounds because she's been seeing my bangag look after drawing the same character for the fifth time on the same page XD
I hope that we don't have to be there today T_T It's Good Friday!! What about my yearly candle-melting spree during the procession!?
