don't fall sleep, its a long one
i haven't written in a while so brace yourself, this could be a long meaningless entry.
tuesday i was late to work by 25 minutes! i have never been that late for work, ever. monday night jesse reminded me that his jeep was at rob's in round rock(somehow both of us forgot)and i was already asleep and in bed for the night so we just decided i would leave earlier to take jesse to get his jeep and i could still make it to work...well maybe i would have been on time except on the way from round rock to my job there were lane closures and a ton of traffic...crummy.
pretty much any of my spare time went to studying for my art history test which i took on thursday. i was very nervous after taking the test...i felt i didn't know a lot of the answers, or was just second guessing myself. today i got an email from my teacher that the grades were posted on the acc blackboard, i just had butterflies the whole time while logging on and getting to my grade...i looked at my grade and hallelujah i made an 87:) what a load off, and i also got to see my presentation grade, a whopping 96...a very good feeling. so i feel i'm doing well in art history but next monday i have a bio test and i'm pretty sure i'm toast. thursday after the test i came home and got ready to go and meet kasey and david for dinner. jesse had been sick the entire week running a fever and having a cough and he was finally recovering but it was best for him to just stay at home and for me to bring him home something instead. i had never met david before and so we all went out to baby a's(both of them had never been and it was close to where we were)and i found that he's a pretty funny guy and it was a good time. after dinner i came home and got ready for bed.
friday i was just so tired from the week that i feel asleep a little before 6 and didn't wake up until 930, then i went and laid down in the living room and started falling asleep again. we decided to put in tx chainsaw masacre but i'm a dork and started getting scared, even though i've seen the movie before, and so we put in scary movie instead.
saturday me and my mom headed to highland mall to do some clothes shopping for jesse and incase i happen to see anything;) i came home and relaxed while jesse made dinner and just watched maverick on tv, then jackie called me and we had talked about her coming over and just hanging out w/ a movie so she did come over...but we never got to watching any movie. she wanted to go out so instead me, her, and jesse went out to the palmer lane tavern. after many cherry vodka sours and a few games of pool we all headed home and just watched jackass on mtv and about 230 i went to bed.
this morning i finally got around to getting my oil changed, this has been long past due. i was going to get my inspection taken care of too but walmart does do that so i'll have to get that taken care of next week. my dad came over for a little bit so i got to give him his birthday gifts and he and jesse watched the houston/chiefs game and then he headed on home so me and jesse could go out for a bit. i went to old navy and jesse went to the best buy next door and i bought a couple things and jesse bought some dvds and then we went to linen n things. we got a couple of new sets of things for the kitchen and towels and its great. we grabbed some dinner and now we're back at home.
tuesday i have a paper due and that is the only thing i plan on stressing about for the week. sounds good to me.
