I was in a car accident...
...I was involved in a car accident at about 8:30ish this evening...
A truck hit me (and my passgenger) when we were making a left turn.. we had a green light, the truck ran his red light..
The guy gave us his information, (without a name and phone number; only the name of his insurance and the policy number)... so, the police officer who responded said that we had made it a civil agreement and she didn't write him a citation (bullshit...)
...so... I think the car's totalled.. I'm still in shock, I think.. I can't feel my arm, though I see bruises on it... my leg hurts... the truck hit us on my side of the car, front left side panel, going pretty fast.. he slammed on his brakes...
The door panel is crushed (I got it open enough to squeeze out, but not more), the front side panel is impacted, and the left front tire is bent kinda inwards, and I think the axle itself is bent..
...Dad thinks it's totalled, and it probably is.. Ironically, it happened in the intersection in front of the place we take our cars for repairs, so I managed to drive the thing up into the parking lot and in front of the building...
What's bad is.. I don't know how to get to work now, and mom can't get my sister to school or get to her job (we shared this car)...
