author note : inspired by Michele Buble's song title "HOME", created for my beloved lianoyume, for her silly idea when we sing HOME in karaoke last night, and the idea coming in my mind in the morning..hope you like it dear ^^..ah maybe we should add shimau too, since she's there when we sing..lol
english is not my first language not even on my list even if you count until 10 (not that i can speak 10 different languages, except if you count humming and grunting as languages), so forgive me for every spelling and grammar mistake *bow*
As a young man in his early thirty Sho already became so successful, and everyone see that he almost perfect, with handsome face, nice and humble attitude, and smart brain. So yes, he almost perfect, almost.
That night he just finished his non-stop meeting with his branch managers from around England. He got this company from his father once, but under Sho management, everything become bigger and better, Sho is always known for his work that never half-hearted. When he got the company, it only have branches in Japan, but Sho ambition is not over yet, he want to take next step and open a branch in England, and leave the branches in Japan under his trusted right hand and best friend, Matsumoto Jun.
Sho walking around aimlessly in his big apartment, something felt wrong that night, feels like something missing. Is not he didn’t know what it is, he know it, he always know it from the beginning. It just Sho didn’t have the gut to face it. He used to have work to distract his mind, but that night, not even the big upcoming project can distract his mind.
He walked to his work room, and opened the drawer on his table. Hundred letters that arrange nicely according to the date show them self to Sho’s eyes. Sho sighed and close it again, only to open it in the next second. His eyes staring at the same receiver name of those hundred letters, Aiba Masaki. Everyone around him always wandering why Sho don’t have any partner. Almost every woman in his office try to flirting with him, but Sho didn’t even bat an eye lashes, well is not that they didn’t know that Sho prefer man over woman, but he also didn’t moved even a bit when a great looking men come to him.
Little did they know that he already have someone in his heart, someone that he loved so much until he can’t see other people but him, someone that he loved so much that he just can’t imagine how to live without him, someone that he loved so much but stupidly he left behind for his ambition.
He opened the latest letter that just make a week ago. He can find “I’m fine, baby how are you?” in every line or two. He really wanted to send it, all of it, but deep inside he know that Masaki deserve better than him, deserve someone better that just a cold hearted guy he is. He put back the letter to it place and open the second drawer, where he put all letter that Masaki send for him. Every once in few week Masaki send him letter just to say that he ok and he will wait for Sho to coming home. Sho know that Masaki still love him as much as he still love Masaki, but he didn’t want to be selfish. Sho never answer any of his letter, Sho hope that Masaki will moved on and will find someone better than him. But from all letters that he received, Sho know that Masaki still love him. he felt glad for it and also felt guilty inside him increase with every Masaki letter.
Sho remember that day just like yesterday, when he said he he wanted to go aboard to expand his company, Masaki just smile to him, a smile that showed his pure happiness. Sho didn’t dare to ask Masaki to come with him, because he knew Masaki loved his job as a kindergarten teacher here. And also its Sho’s dream not him, but Sho also didn’t want to break up with him. Masaki are his sunshine and sources of happiness, if they break up, then Sho wouldn’t know what his live will be. So he just left Masaki with uncertainty in their relation. And when Sho bid his goodbye 5 years ago, he can see how hard Masaki hold his tears, just to show Sho that he strong enough to face this.
5 years has passes, he got everything that he want, his company getting bigger and bigger. But he never once contacted Masaki not even by phone or letter. Sometimes he will called Jun, to ask about the company in Japan. And sometime Jun will add extra news for him, such as “he’s fine”, or “we just hang out together yesterday with Nino and Ohno, and he look great, but you know he can’t lie to us, his eyes never shine the way it used to, his laugh almost felt empty now” and usually Sho close the phone after it, to not let Jun know that he cried.
Aiba’s letter is the one that keep him able to face the day. His letter is just as bright as the person himself. With messy hand writing and blabbering about many things, that not far from the new child in his classes, about Jun coming to their home, about his best friend Nino and his boyfriend Ohno, or sometime about how those two fight and make up not long after it. And it broke his heart when he read “sometime I even envy Nino and Ohno for their fight, is not that I want to get fight, but at least they had someone to fight” and it bring him to tears in a split of second when he found “Sho-chan I miss you, coming home soon ne”. And he will cry for the rest of the night with Masaki letter hold in his chest.
That night something felt different. He felt the urge to meet him right now, and if it possible to pull Japan so it can be next to England, he would do it for whatever cost it is. He re-read Masaki latest letter and find the world said “I love you then, now and ever” next to Aiba autograph. He made his mind and decided it. He pick up his phone to reserve the closest plane to bring him back to Japan, bring him back to his Masaki as soon as possible.
Many hours later in japan
Sho stood in front of their home gate, don’t know what to do. He want to get in the house but he afraid of Masaki reaction, will he mad at him for not giving any news at all for straight 5 years, or maybe he will tell Sho to just come back to England where all his dream were. Suddenly the door open, and revealed the owner home face, and also the owner of his heart. Masaki just stood there in door frame with shock and un-believe expression written in his face. And Sho heart start to thumping loudly, but after seconds passed Sho see Masaki’s bright smile, so bright that make all Sho’s worries gone in the time he see it. Then Sho see Masaki running to him, and hug him so tightly like he didn’t want Sho to leave again. Sho hug him back with the same feeling and buried his face in crook of Masaki neck and breathing in Masaki smell. It feel so content, make Sho wondering how he became so stupid going so far just to pursue his dream, when everything that he ever needed is here, when all he need is just Masaki to make him feel complete
“Tadaima” Sho whisper, and he heard Masaki sob lightly before answer
“Okaeri Sho-chan”

Aiba wake up that morning with a great feeling around him, he felt the sun shine more brightly today that make his tension raise. It has been a while since Aiba felt like this, well 5 years to be exact, 5 years since the love of his live leave him. But Aiba know that, Sho will come back, come back to him. And even tough Sho never gave him news for 5 years, he just can’t bring himself to hate the man that already bring so much happiness in his live. And his friend sometime gave him some news from him. Jun said that he healthy, Nino said that he didn’t date anyone, and Ohno well he just smile the smile that gave him courage and power to wait Sho.
He walked out to his veranda to get some newspaper (its Sho newspaper actually, but Aiba never stop it even after years Sho gone and nobody read the newspaper, just to pretend that Sho still there in their home). He open the door, and stuck dead in his place when he see someone that he missing so much, so much that he afraid that this will be only his imagination since he often dreamt about this. Then he seen those shy smile on Sho lip, and he know that it all true. He running with all his might to his lover even though only few step separate them but Aiba feel like it already too far. He huged Sho as tight as possible and never intend to let Sho go away again.
Aiba felt Sho hug him back as tightly. Aiba want to scream at him, want to know why he never gave him any news at all, want to know why Sho left him, wanted to know if Sho still love him or no. But he heard sho said “Tadima” with very soft voice that show all of his apologize and love, and Aiba felt other things doesn’t matter anymore. All he need is just here in Sho’s arm to embrace him.
