I just found out today that Neil Gaiman is going to be in Minneapolis on October 8th for an event.
I'm going to be there.
It's going to be the most wonderful thing I've ever experienced, one I'll remember forever, I'm sure.
I don't know what I'm going to say to him, but I can only hope that my words will be sincere and true.
I just can't help but feel that there's nothing I can say that truly conveys how much respect and admiration I have for this man, how much his writing's influenced my writing, how he basically showed me how true storytelling is supposed to be. He's the ultimate watermark for me.
I'm going to have to try so hard not to cry when I talk to him.
I guess this is what it means to have an idol.
Oh, and my mom's making popovers tonight. I guess this and that are enough reason to write an entry.
