New Bleach chapter out.
Okay, some interesting tidbits...
My boy has taken to calling the general "SS Fabulous," so I think I'm going to stick with that name. He does look a little fabulous. Honestly, he looks to me like something Tarantino would've dreamed up for Inglorious Basterds. Anyway, we found out here that he's - surprise! - got some Quincy tricks up his sleeve that we really haven't seen before. He also knows Ishida, and seems surprised that Ichigo knows Ishida, and he seems to imply that Uryuu is powerful, or could be more powerful than him.
So we have a few possibilities with Ishida, methinks. Either he's a lying liar who lies, he's known this all along, and he's been screwing with everyone's heads the whole time - which I doubt - or Ishida (perhaps up until recently) had the truth kept from him. In fact, I'd be willing to bet that Ryuuken's alienation from the Quincy has a whole lot more to do with these guys than with profit. If anything, I'm guessing one of the reasons Ishida stayed behind is that he's figured some of this out (or been told by his father) and is going to attempt to deal with it himself.
In the meantime, what does Urahara know, exactly...?
And the Vandenreich are heading into SS. This gives me a sad. I do not have a good feeling about this, guys. At the very least, it's always been evident that Ichigo's abilities come from his desire to protect, and that despair/sorrow/rage often provide him the boost he needs to go get shit done (see: Rukia's execution, Orihime's kidnapping, his family being mistreated by the Fullbringers...) So the question for me this time around is, what traumatic event is going to light a fire under Ichigo this time?
And when will we see Shirosaki?
And Grimmjow?
And Ulquiorra?
