because of a direct order....
Ashley has decided that I must update in order to prevent her boredness but she most likely already left work as it is almost four and will look at it at home so it will not be a fun suprise tomorrow at work to prevent boredom once again, but alas I type anyway...
I moved back to school in to my apartment! My room is very fun although my walls are very blank because i have nothing to hang on them, a lone bulliten board adorns the wall and even that has no stuff on it...and even if i had something to hang up, I have no tape. I got everything organized in it wednesday night. Wednesday I also went out to eat with my parents and my brother's room mate and family that was interesting. Also had great adventures trying to assemble a desk at 11pm with my dad and other bits of furniture. On the way down on monday we stopped at my Uncle's fiance's house to set up a playset (with the tree house and slide)for the kids and i was down in the dirt under this stupid bench trying to attach the picnic table where the holes didn't line up and watch my mom worry about my uncle climbing ladders and the side of the house part with his knee injury still in a brace mind you. Then my uncle took us out to dinner at a yummy restuarant and went on a random shopping trip with Janice to walmart and ended up with a toaster oven and a hamper.
Thursday I had to go to that stupid dinning services fall conference thing the only amusing thing about that was a water balloon fight with five thousand balloons and about 200 college kids...you do the math. It was very entertaining and lasted for a good twenty minutes...balloons flying in all directions. The down side is that we got new uniforms at work they are craptastic....a turquoise dress shirt and a beret, cabbie hat thing. Apparently that was the worse they wished to impose on us there was previous talk of making us where ties or bowties to really humiliate us. People are going to laugh at us. :(
Today me and Alexis helped all the freshmen move in to the dorms. Lots of lifting and confusedness. But we did get a free lanyard and I made a new friend. Stephen from the CAS he was the only one who came from his club and we were the only two from chem club so we joined forces. Bailed early at 12 which was not bad of us we ahd been there since 8am. Then i went to Alexis's house to meet her kittens Chubs and Magnolia and they are super funny one is a grey tabby and the other is calico. They thought the lanyards were a great toy but did have some issues with the dog, Viola. They are afraid and hiss and growl i had never previously heard a cat growl but i can check it of the list. It was humerous more of an angry loud purr. But still no luck making them friends so still they stay in alexis's room hiding under the bed.
Well i guess thats it, might help out with move in tomorrow but really don't want to, Sunday we have the hokie picnic that i have to work at which will be suckie as always but whatever its free food right, then classes start on monday. WHOO...but sarcastic
