Exhaustion

Mar 21, 2009 01:37

I am currently suffering under a cloud of Randian exhaustion. That's when I push myself to my limits, and then beyond my limits, and then I feel like I've been hit by a truck but it's an enjoyable feeling. I went to a Libertarian meet today, made a couple of new friends, called a couple of guys facists, drank some wine, argued for children's rights and got shouted at by a drunken Canadian for supporting Israel. Pretty usual for that kind of event. One of my new friends is Tim Evans, who was a very very cool guy. He has a three year old daughter that I'd really like to meet some time. I took some cherry/coconut/chocolate cookies as nibbles. They were quite popular.

I bought a new flask and make up bag from artbox, just cheap little plastic things but they're cute. I wanted a feathery headband, but the only place that sold nice ones was Accessorize in Covent Garden, and the cheapest was £18, which I do not want to spend on a feather-burst headband, no matter how gorgeous.

Tomorrow I get back into the swing of awesome for another week.

israel, politics, life, win
