Big Update Part 2...New Car, Christmas in January, Job
Well this was another busy week in the life of Rian. First major event of the week was, I bought a new car!! YAY! A Honda Civic LX 2006. Very sexy and sporty looking car. I can't express how much I love it. Without going into total detail because I feel like I have told the story so many times...DO NOT go to Silko Honda in Raynham to buy a car. I was treated poorly, basically told I was not worth having as a customer, and rushed out because it was closing time and the manager wanted to get home. I ended up going to Herb Chambers Honda in Seekonk and the difference was like night and day. I was treated like a real person, taken care of, and given a great and better deal. I HIGHLY recoomend this dealership and any other Herb Chambers. If anyone decides to get a Honda let me know and I will tell you the name of my salesman, he is a great guy. And funny enough he used to work at Silko and was not suprised I had a bad experience there. Here is a pic of the new ride:
This week I also worked in a different Fresh City. I worked in the #1 store in the company in Newton. While I did learn some new things and ideas, I cannot wait to go back to my regular store. I like the team members and guests a lot better. I am sorry but Newton guests are just stuck up rich snobby people with no manners.
Thursday we had our little Christmas party. Ian, Stephanie, Neil, Sherry, and I exhanged gifts and had a nice dinner of pork chops, potatoes, broccoli, and bread. It was a nice night and nice to hang out again with everyone. I was a little hurt by the comment that "this is like when Rian used to be fun", because I was driniking a little and being my silly self. I am not dwelling on it, but kinda hurts to think that someone may think im not fun anymore. I am really sorry I took a job to better myself and that I am enjoying it. I still value the friendships and the time I spend with people all the same. And yes I do miss some of it, but its my life and my career that I need to look out for to.
Friday I took Stephanie to breakfast, picked up the car, got my new Mass lisence, went to Walmart and Target, took down Christmas stuff, and went to Dr. Appointment. At night I went to see "Hostel" with Kris. Very very messed up movie, and gory at times. Made me a little sick to my stomach at some points. And yet I still woulda liked to seen more torture and gory scenes lol. Overall it was a busy day off but I got a lot accomplished. So I am now officially a Massachusetts resident with cancelling my car insurance, surrendering my Michigan drivers lisence, and new plates on my car.
Saturday I worked in Newton from 7-5 and then basically just came home and vegged out. It is wierd how used my body got to the mon-fri waking up at 4 and coming home at same time. Because this week of random schedule at work and days off really made me more tired than usual. Today I am also just relaxing, paying bills, doing laundry and hopefully going to watch some of my new Jurassic Park DVD set or Ducktales :-)
