Short Work Week, Happy Thanksgiving...

This week was a short one at work. I had kind of an off week at work. I was just not as focused as I should have been. I did get another good review and found out some good news. I will be finishing my training as well as working as the Assitant Manager at the Seaport location, which is where I am now. That was good news considering how comfortable I am there already, I like the General Manager and the rest of the employees. Right now it looks like I will be going in Friday for a few hours to help paint and clean up some of the restaurant. I was hoping for a call saying that I would not have to come in, but it looks like it is past time when that would happen.

Last night Stephanie, Neil, Ian and a friend of his, and I went to Mirabar for yet another fun retro night. I was a little unlike myself there, but still was a good boy to some extent :-P Good music, good drinks, and good fun. It was the most packed I had ever seen it there. There was a line waiting to get in and the block was quite packed. I pretty much fell right asleep once we got home, and even though I slept until 10 I still could have slept a lot longer. I managed to catch some of the Macy's parade which is always a tradition on Thanksgiving. Kris came over to hang out and eat turkey with me. The turkey took about 2 1/2 hours. We also had squash, stuffing, cranberry sauce, gravy, and apple pie. It was a very good meal and we ate quite a lot. We spent the day watching movies and playing video games. It was nice to hang out with him since it has been a while. Later in the evening I went over to his house to watch Peanuts and The Apprentice. Overall was a decent Thanksgiving. I hope everyone else had a great day and yummy food.

Now it is time for some much needed rest! Nothing else really new to talk about. Ian just mentioned that his friend Joe may move into our apartment in January. Of course I am going to say it's ok because I know they are good friends and he wants to help him out. If it causes problems then obviously I will need to make a decision about staying here or not, but I am hoping for the best. And on the plus side it will make rent a little cheaper for us. I am just not sure how it will be with another person here. I really do need to figure out what I am going to be doing for living soon anyways. I need to get closer to Boston for many reasons; cheaper transportation, closeness to my job. I am really ready to start a new phase of my life, career, etc. I am ready to start dating and looking for someone for a long term relationship. I am really just rambling right now, there is a whole bunch of stuff going through my mind at the moment. And I probably should think more about it before I continue rambling and not making sense.

Good Night and Happy Thanksgiving Everyone :-)
