(ooc: Sands and why I play him!)
I’m the one of those freaks with only one pup, and that pup is Sands.
I play him because he’s eaten my brain. Simple as. Where before my mind was filled with ‘I wonder what’s for lunch?’ or ‘I should do my English homework’, it’s now Sands Sands everywhere. Back-story grows by the minute, I have character development dripping out of my ears, and I still never quite know what he’s going to do next. It’s fabulous.
So that’s why I play him, but why I enjoy playing him is because… well. More or less the same as above. He’s just so wonderfully, deliciously crazy. And then other times it feels like he’s pulling the wool over everyone’s eyes (my own included), and is actually a lot more sane than I give him credit for. I’m always scared, because of that ambiguity, that I’m playing him horrifically OOC and everybody is too embarrassed to tell me or something. We learn so little about him in OUaTiM, and his voice is such a hard one to get right. But it’s just so damn fun trying.
