The robins were out today. You would have thought spring were here, the way they were carrying on in the sunshine, thrusting those sexy beaks into the green grass, baring those bright burnt breasts of theirs. You would have thought the winter were over, that the time for self-medicating with heat had blown out of town.

Just be patient.

Don't forget that spring is waiting for you, too. Yes, spring is very excited about coming back to do the things you used to do. Make room, spring is going to crash out on that couch in your new place, wants to proofread your material, drive you down to the waterfront to meet the girls, give you a big fucking high-five! Soon enough. There are plenty of robins out there.
