So, I've worked..4 days with Michelle now? She seems nice although we may have certain problems in the future. So far, I am training my boss to be my boss. Literally. I've even gotten strange looks from customers. I'm teaching her the action codes, how to use the regester..you name it. Problem is, she's expecting it now. She drags me everywhere. If electronics needs something, I have to go with her. She's paging me to sporting goods..all sorts of crap. So I feel like I'm doing her job for her. It sucks.
Beth worked yesterday and she felt the same...like she was babysitting. I noticed that Michelle doesn't CSM at ALL when beth is working. She doesn't even send us to lunch.
Well, it gets worse. Beth got into a car wreck yesterday. Although she's alive n' such, she broke her shoulder several times. She was supposed to have surgery this morning. This means she won't be returning anytime soon. We're short one CSM, leaving one CSM that doesn't have a clue.
Boy is this going to be fun.
Supposidely, Michelle is changing her days off. She's supposed to be off tonight and tomorrow but she's coming in instead. I've talked to management about my taking beth's place for a short while but I don't think Mike liked the idea. He completely dismissed it saying he'd talk to jeff and get a CSM to take her place. I doubt this is going to happen. Seriously.
The only person I can think of would be Starla..and I was sorta hoping that I wouldn't have to work with that woman again after she left overnight. I guess we'll just see in the next few days.
I kinda have mixed feelings in this entire situation..not sure what to do about them either. Michelle is very nice to me and so I am the same to her but really, I don't like the fact that I have to do her job at ALL. I know I was more qualified for the job but instead she got it. It just irritates me.
I was also hoping to ask beth about my Star Cashier giftcard. Do we still get those? Because I never got mine and I got star cashier back in october. It's high time they pay up my 25 or 50 dollar gift card dammit.
Anyways, on a good side, my disliking for the situation I am in at work is making me seriously consider majoring in business. I hope to look for and apply for governement grants n' such to continue my edumacation online. I'll also need to contact my school to get my transcripts. Bah.

well I've worked two days now and don't like it. There is no air conditioning, no fans..and it's a lot more strict than my old store. I've already talked to one of the overnight csm's and am trying to get back to overnight.
