threat?
Here lately I've been picking up "vibes" from my CSM/Friend Starla. Certain comments she's made have given me the feeling like she's pissed at me for some reason. I've been getting them for quite a few days and yesterday I was certain. Amelia and I shared our last break. As always we printed the 10 action code. When we came back she snapped because we were 4 minutes late. This of course was not intended. She told us that she had gotten after Nora for going over 1 minute and had to do the same. I then gave her a hard time simply because she freaked over that 1 minute over Nora. Later on, I pulled her aside and asked if she was pissed at me but she only smiled and laughed saying that she wasn't. So I thought everything was cool.
Well today, Starla didn't work. Beth did. Beth is the other CSM, another good friend of mine and of starla's as well. Turns out that Starla was indeed pissed off. She had told Beth that we had given her 'lip' or attitude about it. Upon further conversation, I learned that I was right about Starla being pissy. Apparently she thinks I'm trying to steal her job. Now how she got that idea, I have no clue. It irritates me too.
I have starla's CSM numbers memorized as well as Beth's, simply because they have given them to me. They give me the keys as well as the walkie to use and usually have me go out and pass orders to the other cashiers. I'm basically the CSM's pet. However, that is their choice, not mine. I simply do what I'm told to do. The other cashiers know I get treated differently, they've said so to me.
Why is it now all of a sudden she see's me a threat to her job?
