Start! Stop! DANCE!
OK so I never update my LJ anymore. That is because I'm lazy.
I'm on Spring Break this year. Actually my Spring Break won't be very exciting this year, b/c my week off from classes and my week off from work don't coincide. Boo.
This job has some definite upsides though...a few weeks ago I got to chaperone the trip to Seattle! I actually got paid to go to Seattle, and my responsibilites were pretty minimal. I liked having time to spend with my girls outside of school, and I got to meet lots of girls from other groups too, so that was good. I like new friends. We did all the classic tourist stuff, like the Space Needle, Pike's Place Market, Original Starbucks, etc. My favorite thing was visiting Tillicum Indian Village, probally because it was something I might not have done on my own. The ferry ride was freezing cold but I got a bunch of people to do the "Night of Fire" dance with me so it was fun.
I cleaned my room yesterday. Yaaay.
I wish I was rich. All these great study abroad opprotunities keep presenting themselves but I don't have the money to go. I found this really cool-looking France program I wanna go on (and my host family really wants me to come back) but it's sooo expensive...if any of you got financial aid or scholarships to study abroad, I'd really appreciate hearing stories of how you made that work.
