Ahh, Christmas Break! Nice to finially be able to sleep all I want. YAY! I've been housesitting this week, which means I've been able to watch movies on the big-screen TV of my neighbors. Good thing, b/c I slipped and fell while carrying my TV and dropped it on the ground. The sad part is, I managed to hang on to it but I hit the ground so hard that I let it go and it fell onto the concrete sidewalk and smashed. The VCR part twisted and the screen and other parts fell off and smashed. So sad. My dad managed to bend it into shape, but I doubt it will ever work again. So sad. That was a great little TV. Of course it wasn't the COMPUTER that smashed, so I could get a lovely new one, but my TV that has never given me a problem ever. Grr. Well...I know what I want for Christmas now.
Monday I went out with Kumi, Rina, and Kota. We were going to go to the airport to see off Yuma, but his flight got moved to the middle of the night. So we went to China Buffet and then shopping. I had fun! I need to finish Christmas shopping but I think I'll wait until my neighbor pays me. I did work a single day at the Vet Clinic, but I'm not really working much over the break, which is fine with me b/c I have housesitting for income and I want to relax over the break. I get so tightly wound at school it's nice to be able to relax for awhile. It's also nice to be finished with classes! I put a lot of effort (and a lot of BS) into my final take-home exam for that French class I hated, and actually pulled out a decent grade. YES! Last-minute effort and cramming and making stuff up about the role of light in Germinal DOES pay off! I shall remember that next time I think I'm screwed for a class. One thing Salem has given me is that I do some of my best work last-minute and under pressure. I work well like that. That's not really a good thing...but whatever. I did fine in my other classes too, so that is also helpful to my GPA in general.
Yesterday I was in the DDR "zone" and I got a bunch of A's. YAY ME. I can play that game until I collapse. Actually, one day Janette and I DID play Pump until we collapsed.
I have not much else to say. Momona is coming on Saturday! I'm excited.
