Good to be back home

Wow. I'm finially here! It's so great. It's like, 70 degrees here (well, it's a little cooler now that it's nighttime, but whatever). I've been walking around in sandals, laughing to myself b/c I don't have to deal with the snow for two weeks.

Today was a little bit stressful. I had to get up at 5 (after going to bed at 2:30) to go to the airport. My flight was supposed to leave at seven, but they had to de-ice the plane and do a bunch of other crap that took over an hour. (The best was when the pilot was liek "we'll keep you posted throughout the day" and I was thinking, whoa this is gonna take all day?? Then I look out my little window and saw, I kid you not, a guy using a TINY HANDHELD SNOW SHOVEL. I was like you have GOT to be kidding me). So anyway, I was pretty nervous b/c we'd waited an hour, and my layover in Minneapolis was only gonna be an hour and twenty minutes. So I got there, indeed, 20 mere minutes before my flight was supposed to leave...the LAST flight to Raleigh. And my terminal was at the other end of the airport. Great. So I booked it like none other, ran there, and just barely made it. Dolores, this is something else I will run for. So that was stressful, but it ended up all good. Lauren thanks for being supportive during my crisis :)

But I made it and it's sooooo great to see my family again. My little cousins are so adorable, they are like Kisa (Dolores knows what I'm talking about ;)) and my aunt and uncle are so nice. I'm so glad to be here, every time I come back to NC it feels like coming home. Everything is all green and warm, it's so great. I love being here.
