(no subject)
last night was one of those especially good unplanned girls nights. sarah, becca and i got dressed up cute and trecked over to quad to go boywatching (and to eat dinner) we then scurried along through town and snowbanks to the Strand (grinnell's newly opened 3 screen movie theatre!!) it was way awesome and really cute and in general made me sooo happy. it was like half the town was there as well as a bunch of us grinnellians. using our free tickets we saw sideways and it was cute cause it took place in california and very close to sarah's hometown so that was fun. we went back to the science building where nick remembered to meet us for pictionary and then went back to bob's meeting up with boys and playing risk for many hours. i took over australia. that was the highlight for me.
today was an afternoon with the boys as we went to goodwill for a very long shopping trip where kyle tried on every crazy outfit he could find (and this is a goodwill in the middle of small town iowa) josh assisted and anand and i found ourselves sitting on the couch outside of the dressing room asking them if they were done. the old ladies in goodwill were getting quite a kick out of kyle as they asked us how much he charged for the fashion show. we then went to McNally's and got groceries for my feast of oatmeal. they took me to dinner in the dining hall elimidate style and then i worked in the ceramics studio for 3 hours and went to bridgette's party and danced it up.
uu group is going to iowa city for a service there tomorrow. very exciting!
