ANGLETERRE (arthur kirkland)

Though France and England have an extensive history together, their relationship in Death City is very poor. Not only is France turned off by how moody and selfish England acts due to whatever happened to him during his much longer stay here, but he doesn't trust him. He feels shunned by an old friend and his greatest enemy, so tries merely to avoid him.

ALLEMAGNE (ludwig)

(technically aslkdjf)

At home, Germany and France lead the European Union together (hence the bro-status by technicality). But generally France thinks Germany is a bit of a potato-masher and needs to lighten up (and he's jealous he got the cute Italy). He is thankful to have him around at SC and definitely feels much more positive about him after Germany let him peek into his pants at the Oktober Fest party.........................

PRUSSE (gilbert beilschmidt)

"Keh. Just like old times...lookin' forward to it. But keep your hands to yourself this time." Just like Spain, France and Prussia grew up together and became very close friends. They had a falling out shortly before Prussia ceased to be a nation, which made things a bit awkward for a while, but SC allowed old wounds to heal. Perhaps their bond doesn't have the passion his and Spain's does, but he is glad to have him back, nonetheless. If only he'd put out a little like his brother. The two of them organized a business and named it after Spain.

HONGRIE (elizabeta hedevary)

CERTAINLY not ever the greatest of friends (especially with the way France covets Austria), Hungary has been a kind enough ally to France here in SC. He'd still flip her skirt if he got the chance, and he still wants Austria, but he is happy to have her company and occasionally her advice.

ISLANDE (eiríkur ragnarsson )

Iceland is not a nation France has an extensive history with or has even really interacted much in Death City. But he has no problems with the nation at present. Aside from him being a rude troll.

CUBA (alejandro perez)

Cuba and France don't have the best relations. Cuba is kind of a big jerk and slow to let bygones be bygones (okay, so France isn't any better). There will someday be a rematch in football, in which France vows to have revenge for it even being considered he get the bench the whole time. Generally, he stays out of Cuba's way. Probably even moreso now that Spain is gone.

CHINE (yao wong)

China is another country that France would gladly take a piece of. They certainly haven't been the best of allies in the past, but every once in a while, they do alright together. He will happily continue to lend his support to China for a free cop-up.

JAPON (kiku honda)

Another France has had little contact with in Death City and not an extremely long history with back home. However, he respects Japan's culinary feats (supposedly considers them somewhat close--but never good enough-- to his own), which is a start.

citoyens

JEANNE d'arc

Not the same version of Jeanne from his world, but it doesn't matter. Jeanne d'Arc is one of France's most treasured citizens ... even if he did forget about her until Napoleon's time. Her demise is still something he regrets, and when she was kidnapped in SC, it devastated him. He wants more than anything to keep her from having to feel any horrible pain or betrayal ever again. Something he considers a great victory with Jeanne is getting her to wear a dress of his choosing. Something that's a little less of a victory is that Jeanne gets away with scolding him 100%.

JULES de ferrier

Jules is a bit of a strange person, especially since he won't actually accept that France is France. They definitely don't see eye to eye very often. Still, he is pleasant company (usually, and especially with wine involved), and a citizen, so France finds him to be very important and would see to both his protection and his comfort in Death City. Any slander against his citizens is a slander against him.

NOA voilier

Noa is an honorary citizen of both France and Spain, after he helped them save the life of Joan of Arc. Helping in such a task of course earned a great amount of respect from France. All Noa needs now is to loosen up a bit and open his eyes to life of a true Frenchman...starting with being naked.

ville de la morte

adrian MONK

France doesn't even technically know Monk's name. What he does know is that this man is crazy and lethal with a vacuum cleaner (and maybe not even in the way you'd expect). He attacked France and Spain, destroyed France's first apartment, and insisted he name his canaries Trudy and Natalie for whatever reason. He gets one heart out of pity...there's something pitiable about this guy.

ALOIS trancy

Kind of a brat, to be perfectly honest, but he's England's citizen so that's to be expected. Certainly nicer to France the first time around, but he forgives him. He offered to cook and/or bake for Alois a couple of times so he didn't have to suffer English food, so he's willing to try and weasle his way into getting this kid to like him.

CLOVIS la britannia

The prince of some Britannian realm, France finds him quite fashionable if not a bit of a spaz (even for France). He's both interested in and wary of him, but the latter is not really for any fault of Clovis'. England got in a tizzy when France offered him dual-citizenship, since he clearly fits such a fabulous specimen much better than Bushy Brows. He did not do so out of spite, though England won't believe him. Still, he thinks Clovis is a keeper.

count D

A fast friend for France, because not only does D agree America isn't the ritz, he appreciates France's sweets and charm, as well as the importance of looking good and well groomed. It was really not difficult for him to like D's company, and the man isn't bad looking either.

death the KID

Danger danger danger. Only slightly less terrifying than Monk if not only because he is quite easy to please. And never came at anyone with a vacuum cleaner and bleach. Insists France's birds have the "8"'s added to their names. Okay man, whatever floats your boat.

ENMA kozato

Deep down inside, when France isn't being a raging pervert, he really has a "big brotherly" side, which he kind of feels for Enma. Kid lacks confidence and never looks to be in good shape. If anything, France wishes he could at least help him out with some self-esteem. Of course, sometimes France doesn't practice what he preaches either, but it's the thought that counts!

KURT hummel

A young (sadly American) man who has a great eye for fashion. France feels flattered (which is not hard) that Kurt willingly saught his advice on clothing once he got to Death City-- where the selection leaves so much to be desired. He likes Kurt, he would happily speak to him again even if it's to shake their head at someone's t-shirt.

miles EDGEWORTH

Another clearly fashionable person that also speaks French (notice how all the fabulous people speak French? OBVIOUSLY A SIGN). Though they have not spoken often, France would be happy to share company with Edgeworth. A good cravat is so hard to come by these days.

RISE kujikawa

Rise was Matthew (Canada)'s partner (in a couple of ways). Originally, France was just happy that Canada managed to snag such a looker, but she quickly grew on him, and he feels that in a way, she is partly his responsibility now that Matthew is gone. He wouldn't let anything happen to her if he could help it. She is very sweet to France.

TOPH bei fong

For the most part, France's experience with Toph is being chased out of her feeds for being inappropriate with Spain. But she was rather fond of Spain and he felt bad when she was so affected by his returning. Doesn't really think she's a bad kid even if she is grumpy as hell. France also doesn't know she is blind. Gray's partner.

YOKO ritona

America's partner, and she certainly has the balls to put up with him, for which France admires her. She is a bit rougher than Matt's partner Rise, but sweet in her own way. France must remember to give her flowers one of these days.

code borrowed and modified from lovikov

France also has 3 Canaries. Their names are Jacques (Jacques 8), Jacques (Jacques 88, Trudy), and Jacques (Jacques 888, Natalie).
