So the last couple of days have been crazy. Thursday night both Wesley flag football teams played eachother, and we went into overtime. I was playing on defense, and i usually cover someone, but they wanted me and Elizabeth Venezia to rush instead. So we both run outside and get past the offensive line, and meet in the middle to pull the quarterback's (Joe Riddle) flag. We are both on him, and start to pull his flag, and he just runs in the middle of us and throws a pass. Elizabeth and I were running full force, and collided. When it happened all I could think about was how I couldn't breathe, and then I heard her moaning. I sat up really quickly to see if she was ok, and then I blacked out and I don't remember too much after that. The front of her face hit the upper-right hand side of mine. Her lips were all swollen, and so was her nose. I think that her nose is broken, but it is still too swollen for x-rays. So Thursday night I kept ice on my eye most of the night because it was huge. Friday I went to the doctor to get some x-rays done and to make sure that I didn't have a serious concussion or anything. The doctor said that I was fine and gave me some pain pills. I went to Wesley to bake cookies for the UMW bake sale, but I started feeling really bad and went back home before I went to Micah's later.
I feel so much better now, and the swelling has gone down a lot. My eye lid is really purple, but you really can't even tell that much unless my eye is closed that there is anything wrong. My head is what hurts the most though, but the medicine that the doctor gave me really helps.
So..that was the crazy thing that happened at the Wesley game Thursday night, and I am really glad that we have 2 weeks until our last game so I will be able to play, and I really hope that Elizabeth will too. The physical trainer told me that I can't exercise or anything for 10 days, so that isn't going to help with my Fluffy Friends meeting tomorrow night haha. Oh well.
Justin, my friends, and my roommates were so helpful this weekend, because I couldn't drive or anything, and I really want to thank everyone for checking up on me. My parents came in town for the game Saturday and spent the night so that was really nice too. My mom was really worried about me, but she knew I was in good hands :)
I spoke at worship Thursday night before the game, and I am really glad that I did. I like typed out my notes and everything, and I didn't even really look at them so I am sure that I missed some stuff I wanted to say ,but oh well. It was just really stuff that I had on my heart, and I hope that everyone got something out of it.

Oh yeah..in case you were wondering...our team didn't even win the game..talk about a bummer.
