Recovering

She's not quite injured now, but nonetheless she is resting. The poor Princess is more than a little shaken up and with good reason; the night before she was attacked. There seemed to be no reason for it, the longer Alyss thought on it. She had been stupid in allowing it to happen, but the man had not seemed dangerous to her, no more dangerous than the men she would speak with at galas and over tea. Certainly no where near as dangerous as she knew Hatter to be, or even Dodge.

They were dangerous in a different way though, weren't they? Speak softly and carry a big stick. This man, Felix he was called, was not dangerous so much as he was...well, evil.

The previous night's damage included a cut to each cheek, a stab-wound to the side near her breast and another in her back (her shoulder to be exact) which was pulled down an inch or so. The Princess was lucky for the aid of strangers of a kinder nature, a nurse, a fairy and a girl not too much younger than she was who worked to stop the bleeding and begin to stitch her. She was luckier still for Dodge who arrived with a Healing Rod, familiar to her to close the wounds and better heal them.

There's not much evidence she was attacked now, but she has been and she is in bed. Likely Dodge is there, watching over her. He did not seem content to leave her the last they spoke. A request has been put out to Hatter and Sir Justice. Alyss would feel safer if she at least saw them, especially after what Vera said.

But she would like to see anyone, we're sure. Or perhaps she would like to just snuggle with Dodge.

Typist: So. She'd probably like company.
