Sad Times
Let me first start by saying I do not go out of my way to comment on negative things I see on LJ. And if you've ever read my profile or ALL my posts you would see this to be the case, but seeing that word used in that manner riled me.
Why defend a friend who calls their child such a filthy name? Is it cool? Are you still part of the "in" crowd because of it? Will she not be your friend any more if you do not laugh?
Reality check it's not funny. It's not funny to insult your children even though it's done indirectly. It's quite literally disgusting.
As for the Mum who said she has 3 that came out of hers.....funny my 2 came out of my vagina. I don't need to find another word for it. I'm adult enough to use VAGINA.
I'm not without fault, but damned if I'm going to laugh at crudeness to feel accepted. Nor will I jump in when it's obvious the friend can speak for herself, and might I add she did it with politeness.
