ADMIN: tags are your friend...
Quick mod post:
Just a reminder guys, TAGS are your friend. Please use them on all community posts. This can done be two ways:
1) When you are first making the post, add them into the 'tags' field - all tags for RightClick Drool should be done as firstname lastname (all lower case) with a comma and space separating them.
So like: brad pitt, jude law, colin farrell
2) Make the post (without tags). Once the post is successful, LJ automatically shows a page that says:
Now that you've posted, you can:
* View the entry
* Edit the entry
* Add the entry to your memories
* Edit this entry's tags
Click on "Edit this entry's tags" and it will show your post. Or you can go to the journal page and next to the post there are several icons near the usericon, one of which is to edit the entry's tags.
Scroll alllllll the way down and under the post will be a scroll box with a bunch of names in it. Simply select the relevant names for that post. On PCs, just hold the CTRL key down as you click to select multiple names. Perhaps a Mac user can comment on how to do that for Macs.
I'm not familiar with any of the LJ clients, so those instructions are if you update from your browser.
It is currently set up so that only moderators (myself and sexy_kinda06) can add new tags. This means if you type in piece brosnan instead of pierce brosnan, it will just ignore the mistake and leave that tag off. You can then go back and select the proper name through the 'edit this entry's tag' option. It will also ignore any actor we have not already added into the tag database. There are currently about 175+ actors listed and we will update it as needed. If you want to be super cool, when you notice that someone you posted is not already in the tag database, go here and leave a comment about it so we can catch it and add him in quickly. (A link will be available on the main community page)
