Hi there, thanks for creating such an awesome community, very much Arizona obsessed LOL so I'm gonna enjoy this, I was wondering if like over on the Callie and Arizona community when people reply to your posts...how do we set it up so we get notified via email?

Hey, thanks for joining! We're all excited about this place too.

I think that your email notifications are in your personal settings, not the comm's settings - but it seems like LJ is being slow right now in sending notifications because I've had some but not all of the comments to these threads. I will double check our settings though, just in case. They seem to be coming through now so you'll probably have a flurry of emails soon with all the replies to your comments!

Current icon challenge

Hiya!

I just have a couple of questions about the icon challenge - I'm a bit confused and didn't want to do anything wrong!

So do we submit our icons to the post you've already made? If so, how does one prompt ideas or screencaps or whatever? Also, should I be using an anonymous file host when I upload the icons?

And in terms of categories, would say, an icon of Callie and Arizona from season 5 still go in the family section, even though they weren't a family then, or would it go in Open Category. What type of things are you expecting for that?

Hi, thanks for asking! We're always happy to answer questions :) And you're not a bother at all. Thanks so much for taking the time to participate.

Icons should be submitted to the post I've already made, yup. And prompts and ideas can be shared there, too. You won't be able to see them initially but I'll unscreen those as soon as they're posted so they'll show up almost straight away. Don't worry too much about an anonymous file host. If I think it gives something big away, I'll upload the icons to our own file host :)

Any photos of Callie and Arizona would go into the family category, yup. Although they were only just dating in season 5 they're family now so that totally counts. Open Category would be for say, Arizona & patient or patient's parent - or Arizona & Julie from season 5.

Hi,
I tried to post to the community and I get a message saying per community rules, your comment is marked as spam.

What's up? What am I doing wrong?

FYI - I just posted a reply leaving out the URL hyperlink - and it seemed to take.

Guessing it may be the URL that makes the server think it's spam - which begs the question - how does on post a URL?

Can someone help?

You're not doing anything wrong! For some reason, whenever someone posts a comment with a url link, it marks it as spam - it must be in our settings and I haven't figured out how to fix it yet. I will try later on and come back to you. Sorry!

I think I fixed it so hopefully it won't happen again. :)
