I’m beginning to wonder whether or not a state of satisfaction is obtainable. That perhaps I am trapped in a perpetual sense of inadequacy. A life long commitment to achieving some impossible standard, doomed never to reach the proverbial greener grass.
Maybe that’s just an adverse effect of ambition. After all, what motivation does satisfaction provide?
