Well, I've compiled a vague run down of all the damages plus the list of food losses from Lucas. I've seen worse but I suggest a little belt tightening if we don't want to be in trouble later on

We did quite well between selling the candy from Candy Mountain and spending Amicus in Kropmork with Gunsmoke bar open. I do not believe we are sufficiently destitute to warrant smaller meals.
Further exercise towards self sufficiency would not go amiss, however.

Sir, if I may?
I think that as long as we don't have a stable means of earning money again, what with the damages to the deck and the cost of repairs, we should take some measures to spend as little as possible.
I'm not one to cut back down on food, though, but maybe we can add more vegetables and meat we've caught/hunted to the food supplies. Buuut, I'll need the opinion of the other officers if we have the man-power to spare for food things when we're well in the middle of repairs. Hm!
I am not opposed to further efforts to have a sustainable food supply, however it certainly should not come at the expense of the deck repairs.
I am certain the local Bydan government would not mind us hunting local animals provided it does not constitute poaching. Further inquiries on this subject are definitely required before we can take action on that front. Ship agriculture is notoriously unreliable due to height and pressure differences, however we will be able to determine viability after a single crop.
We have also had a far more steady supply of money in recent months and our variance is far less dramatic. I welcome you to look at the financial records during my tenure as captain if you would like.

Not at all! Deck repairs are my priority at the moment, as you've seen. I shall try to speed it as best as I can.
I'd like to look, but not for the purpose of verifying your capability as captain. There's no need for that. If I'm to be a good officer to your ship, though, I think it's best for me to see how our finances come and go so I have an idea. It makes me a little uncomfortable to think that we're dipping into savings, that's all.

That is the nature of the acting 'gig' however, and the adventuring one as well. The last haul finances the next days. If it is any consolation, the Gunsmoke bar represents a significant and steady source of income when it is operational. That should, of course, be a priority along with the deck.
Please let me know when it is convenient for you and I will inform Lucas to make documents available.

We have not had sufficient time to go over the ships finances. I have been handling them myself due to insufficient officers.

And I noticed that, though I have no issue taking a few people's worth of duties. Keeps things interesting.

Anytime, boss. I'll look at it between working on the deck.
