jealousy and envy

Based on a basic definition that jealousy is for a person, and envy is for a thing...
I think that jealousy spawns when there is no trust. Note, that I am not saying "not enough trust". Trust is something of an extreme, it's either there 100% or it's not (it's same as there can't be "a little bit pregnant"). Personally, if I trust someone, I would not be jealous, and if I don't trust, then there is nothing to be jealous about, so to me jealousy does not really exist.
Envy is either white or black. Black envy is usually done by possessive people, and it only makes all the parties involved feel negative emotions. White envy, on the other hand, is a rather positive emotion, because you can make the person happy for what they have, and also feel good about yourself that you have this quality in you to be happy for others.
