I was also lucky enough to receive all of the SC episodes on DVD from an extremely kind soul, and so that's what I've been doing every free moment I've had. I have come to two conclusions thus far: 1) I remember (and love) the first season so much more than the second, and this is because, 2) SC definately "jumped the shark" when Catalina left and Suzee came in. And when the adults became nonexsistent. And when Nickelodeon took over control of the show...but I digress.
Also, since I've been watching SC so much, I decided to make a Sims 2 neighborhood of the characters (I know. I have no life.). So as I was creating the character's Sim counterparts, I spent the most time considering what their life aspirations would be. This is what I came up with...any thoughts? I tried to make them all different, otherwise it would be kinda boring to play. But I still think I did pretty well.
Bova: Wealth
Catalina/Suzee: Romance
Harlan: Popularity
Radu: Knowledge
Rosie: Family
Davenport: Family
Goddard: Wealth
And yes, I did make Goddard and Davenport a married couple because it's obvious that's what would happen after they got home. Otherwise, no one else is getting married/romantically involved. That's what the NPC Sims are for.
I've also been doing screenshots as I've been watching the episodes, and here's my favorite thus far:
