Space Cases and Poliscifi

Okay, so I'm writing this last paper for Poliscifi (finally- due Tuesday) and in it I have to posit a past point of departure for an alternate history. I chose the Emancipation Proclamation. (I am so over this class!)
Meanwhile, on the 10th Anniversary of SC, I decided to watch one episode every week in the order they premiered. I was behind a bit, and put It's My Birthday, Too (Yeah!) and Tie Me Kangaroo Down, Court on in the background as I finished this draft in order to catch up.
Yeah, so: slavery = Andromedans and Radu's "family secret" in IMBDTY, while infinite alternate histories = infinite parallel universes of TMKDC.
See? Space Cases is everywhere. Nothing else in the series fits like this.
Also, at the moment I was writing about Lincoln and the presidency, I hear: "your grandmother was president and your grandfather was a pioneer? Wow."
