I feel more like a real person now that I've moved off campus - is that weird?  I have bills and groceries and a garage that goes whoooong-kaCHUNK when I push my garage door opener.  I have a living room and a pantry (oh glorious pantry!), and a lazy susan thing installed into the corner counter.  I haven't had one of those since ye olde townhouse in Sugarland.
I've filled my pantry with sundries.  Ginger snaps, candy corn, sour skittles, noodles.  My fridge has garlic, seriously sharp cheddar, and organic whole milk.  Jason's parents loaded me up with veggies on my last visit, so tonight I'm makin' jambalaya.
My herbs made the transition well, aside from Basil, who fell over in the back seat.

The White Mountains were fabulous, if the most difficult thing I've ever pushed my body to do.  I want to describe it in detail, but I know that (unless you've done some serious White, Smoky, or Rocky Mtn climbing) you simply wouldn't understand.  And that's okay - I didn't understand either...until about 5pm on Day 3.  I recommend it, but have a backup plan (eg, signal flares).

Also, I saw Ponyo!  Lovely, of course.  Just wonderful.  I'm a little wary of a five year old being expected to proclaim his undying love...but still, a great movie.
