Saturday Morning
I woke up this morning at 7am, and rolled over to go back to sleep. But the piggies started demanding things at 7:10.
You see, the guinea pig home is on the floor, and I usually open the door of their house to allow them to come out and run around on the floor of my bedroom. My room is guinea pig proofed, I've blocked off all the dangerous areas and there are no power cords laying about. They understand that they need to pee in their house (altho, Boo is not as fastidious as Twitch, and she's making a minor mess of the carpet in her resting area. arg.)
Anyway, as soon as Twitch knows I'm awake in the morning, she's banging on the door to be let out. Ha. But this morning, instead of opening the door, I scooped her up and crawled back into bed with her. I did get up eventually, and we had play time on the floor.
When guinea pigs get excited they do these cute little jumps and shakes. It's called popcorning! And both Boo and Twitch were doing popcorns. It makes me happy to know that they are happy. :)

So, now I've had two cups of coffee, I've put two postcards in the mail, and I've updated my rather lame NaBloPoMo page.
Later today I will attempt to do some catch up with my reading. Maybe send out another postcard. Work on my drawing of the day...
The last couple days, I've not been very enthusiastic when I sat down to draw. When this happens, I tend to do abstract colouring. Sometimes these are interesting, but mostly, not. So, hopefully today I will draw something decent. And, hopefully today I'll get some scanning done so I can show you more of my stuff!
