A Pondering
Pyromaniacs....perhaps they burn everything they see because fire, in general, is able to reduce things down to a heap or puddle. Perhaps they are trying to find something SOLID, something they can not destroy. In such a place as this, so few things are untouchable and not many people are able to stand the heat. They search for something out of their reach, a reality that can not be harmed by their small hands.
It is not logical for "G-d" to create man in his own image. Think about it, if he was to create something and that thing were ( time, universe, reality) then wouldn't he create that entire universe in his own image? Why just man, a small piece of the whole? Such is the arrogance of our species.
Just on a side note, America would be well served to lower its egotism and begin treating other countries with absolute understanding. Citizens of America should not be opposed to giving something up so that others might prosper. To curb the general appetites that consume them and share evenly across the world. Perhaps then the pride so expressed in America would be more properly deserved.
